Does anyone know types of Turkish irregulars used in the balkans. I've seen several types of Bashi Bazok as well as Albanians.
and would you be interested in more Irregular Bulgarians?

Irregular Bulgarians in the Macedonian region fought for Bulgaria. They even had a name which I will look up from my book note on the Balkan War.
macedonia had been a focal point of a rivalry between Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. They had just had a several year war there prior to 1912.

Turk irregulars were mainly local Moslems or other 'volunteers'.

Sorry yes Bulgarians were against Turks.

the Bashi bazoks I've seen wear a variety of uniform syles. do you know if this is related to region or unit?

I think there is plenty of scope here for skirmishs and full battles. I'm looking at a Greek – Turkish series of battles, but if I get some Bulgarians as well that gives me even more options.

I would ay by region. Greeks in the early part of the 1800s during the Greek war of Independence could tell what part of the country a force was from by the color and styles of pants, shirts and vests.
If you have MAgweb, I had a special edition of Time Portal Passages on the balkans War.It included uniform and battle data.
