True North has redone the molds for the Brewster Buffalo. As opposed to the old one, this is a very clean and crisp casting. Beautiful model. I just got replacement models in the mail today, out of the blue. |

John, I think those are mine. They must have gotten mixed up in the mail some how, yeah, that's right, mixed up in the mail. Kevin ;) |

My favorite aircraft. Don said they fixed the lopsided wing cast of the old one. |

All the casting gunk buildup around the wings and tail has been cleaned up. The fuselage still has very minor pitting, but is 1000% better. I may buy more! And, I may also get the feared Fokker DXXI! |

Not the Fokker DXXI! Next you'll be wanting Moraine Saulnier 406's and Gloster Gladiators! The madness. Or are you going the East Indies route? |

No. Finland. And, you eerily predicted my air force! |

Good resources on the doughty Buff: Squadron/Signal 'F2a Buffalo in action' #81. A recent front cover on a modeling mag – Aviation Modeling or some such (saw it at The Last Square). Hot centerfold, even shows some undercarriage! and one of my favorite sites: warbirdforum.com/buff.htm -good links and good further books for reading – mostly Far East. [I am ridiculed, even in gaming circles, for my support of the F2A]. |

And, following a trend it seems, I also like the Burgundians. Only ridiculed in gaming circles, however. |

Did the Burgundians fly the Buffalo? |

Only on weekends. Too busy losing the groundwar. They also had problems getting the 'Barded Buffaloes' of the ground. With the Swiss flying the 109 (with a little compartment for the toothpick), it was no contest. |
