I have looked at several manufacturers. (Old Glory, Essex, Museum, and two more that I can't recall the names of).

Does anyone own 15mm Indian figures and care to comment on what the like / dislike from their particular manufcature? I have seen some photo's of most of Essex line, not so much of the Old Glory. The Museum look nice, but I am put off with the only one pose idea.

So any further info besides what a basic net search and surf of the manufactures that end users can provide would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

I thik Xyston has some very good ones.

The only ones I know about personally are by Xth Legion, and are no longer available. (Gladiator had 'em but lost the license.)

We have the Gladiator Miniatures range – I'm in the middle of painting my own FOG army now.

Gladiator didn't exactly lose the Xth Legion license, Steve Saleh withdrew them and destroyed the moulds…

Really? That's horrible. Why did he do that? They were nice figures.

I have painted Museum, Old Glory and mInifgs. All have positives. i do not like to mix companies so my DBM armies were all the same for each one.
I like the Museum infnatry which looked as if it could be used for later armies.

Since you need a lot of elephants, the Old Glory was much cheaper than the others.

The GFI bullocks were unique and nice.

I brought some Museum Indians, very unhappy with the General mounted on an elephant models. All the models were missing parts and figures. I had no satisfaction when I raised the problem. In the end I used all the elephants as baggage elephants.

My group buy a lot of figures and my experience with Museum was enough to get us to start a list of bad brands we would never use again.

OG15 would be my suggestion, at the price they are an ok figure, as good as most of the more expensive ones.

I like my Xyston. And the price is right at Brookhurst.

There is also the Chariot range. You can see them at

(sorry I can't for the life of me work out how to make it an actual link here, any suggestions?)

Cheers

Looks like you managed it fine Richard! Ah, the magic of TMP.

I'm using Old Glory Indians.

A friend has a museum army in 15mm. I thought that they looked very nice, nice proportions.
