My wife recently joined our pirates game, looking for a figure to make a good royal handmaiden, preferrably Spanish, know of the MEGAMINIS royals set, plan on checking Foundry later today. Any other suggestions? Links would be good. Thanks!

There are still some 7th Sea figures around, they come in sets of two, one male and one female and are dressed in fantasy renaissance styles.

Lance and Laser used to have a very nice line of historically accurate courtiers, but they discontinued it.

There is some possibilities in Blue Moon's "Colonial American Civilians":

Of if you wanted and ARMED royal handmaiden(?) some of their Swashbucklers might work:

Maybe the one with the pistol…?

There are possibilities in West Wind's Gothic Horror line:

There is the Fat Governor and Crrepy assistants that Der Alte Fritz has refered to:

There is only one lady in the pack, though, and I think she looks more like the type that would HAVE a handmaiden than would BE a handmaiden… But truthfully I have NO idea what a Spanish Royal handmaiden would really look like – so it might be perfect fro all I know…

I have pics of some of the West Wind and Old Glory ladies painted posted here:

Try Lance and Laser's # 00233 Fox & Senorita

They are Sandra Garrity sculpts and definately have a spanish flavor.

Thanks all, keep the suggestions coming, my wife fell in love with the Sandra Garrity Fairy, so i will try that, and hopefully not ruin it too much. Also liked some of the West wind gothic stuff, but I will see how the fairy works.

Or the Village Seer from L & L? Bit gypsyish but looks Spanish. The movie Spanish Main was on late night recently and they handmaidens in that were decidedly dowdy in comparison with the female star almost nunlike.

Also agree thsat some of the OG wenches might suit but Mega minis have some likelies in their Court range & you can buy these singly.
