I've been working away on my ACW project the past three weeks. You can see the fruits of my labors on my blog: link If you don't want to follow the link, just know this: GMB flags rock. |

GREAT job, Somac. They look crisp and clean, exactly how toy soldiers should look. And who DOESN'T like seeing all the flags in one long line?! Here is a similar "money" shot a friend of mine (Muzik212 on here
I think is his posting name?) took of slightly less than half of his Federal collection flag bearers. I keep getting on him about taking a shot of his entire collection, but getting them all set up is a task. picture Wish he would get them all set up for once:) Here is his blog; he doesn't update often, but looking through it you can find some great shots. echoesofglory.blogspot.com Anyway, they look fantastic, and I enjoy your blog greatly. In fact, I might link it on my own blog, if you dont mind!:) link |

BTW
so is there a civil war wargamer out there who DOESN'T have an Irish brigade flag in their army?:) I think I have maybe
eight. |

Excellent work. I am also doing Sash and Saber 25mm and using the same Old Glory flag poes and GMB flags. I have not decided on basing size yet, but i really like yours. One question, you sat you are using Litko 3mmx30mmx40mm rectangles, but then further down you say you are using 40mm x 50mm. Did you switch from one to the other? |

Very good work and very good photography also! You know what you are doing!! Thought the cords on the flags might be gold, but I could be wrong since this is the ACW , after all, and all things are not only possible, but also likely! |

Lord Ashram, link away. I have enjoyed your blog very much. I had perused your friends blog before I started this project. It was one of the things that inspired me to try ACW in 25mm. WarWizard, I am using 30mmx40mm bases for the infantry. The 40mmx50mm bases are for cavalry. I edited that post to correct it. The 30mm frontage should work very well for Guns at Gettysburg, which recommends 15mm of frontage per rank. docdennis1968, I too had thought that the cords would be gold since, after all, they're gold on every flag I see around me. But then I saw that someone had painted them blue, so I checked my Osprey on Union flags. The cords were interwoven sky blue and white. |

Thanks for the base info. Are you basing any dismounted cavalry? |

Scott, As always, beautiful work! I may have a few cords to repaint

I really love your blog. Like you I go for a mix of figures in my French 28mm regiments. I have Connoisseur, Hincliffe, Front Rank, Elite and others mixed in together. I give my FR friends heaps about their fat infantrymen. |
