Looks cool so far. Worth a starter box.

I'm pretty sure my son will go crazy over this game. At least to play with the figures if not the rules. I will also go crazy, but that's been noted before. This is looking awesome.

I want the 'tentacled' monster…(of course!) and the saucers….lots and lots of saucers…..(I have a very large TENTACLED invasion force that needs a 'ride'….)

I do like the look of this.

I'm guessing each booster will have:
1 big monster/robot
3 or 4 vehicles/smaller monsters
1 terrain piece

Dratski. Can't access the site from work.

Saucers, you say?

I am also looking forward to this, even though it's a CMG- so long as the distribution allows me to get the big beasties easily enough then I'm in.

I'm with wmining. I want easy access to the larger creatures. If all cool creatures are "super rare" I will be very annoyed.

This game looks nice. I would like a large varitey of buildings with several different maps. So far the minis look super cool. In fact, I think I need them all. The 'zilla and 'Thulhu are unique enough to buy just for the sculpts alone.

I think it would also be fun to substitute other miniatures, like an Epic Titan and tanks for the G.U.A.R.D. units. (Assuming the rules are any good.) I hope it works with multiple players.

Well I just finished reading Monster Island by Firefly Games. It's a fully customizable Kaiju game that's been out for several years. My buddy got the first version as a PDF for only $7. USD We were looking at something to introduce our kids into miniature wargaming. Rules are pretty straightforward and easy to play. Pretty well simulates most of the classic monsters in Godzilla flics. There's several expansions to it as well that include cities, military, aliens and flying saucers.

I've already started snatching up some Godzilla toys, and am looking forward to snatching up some cheap commons from this game.

CmdrKiley, you are thinking exactly whay I am thinking. The buildings would be cool for a Monster Island game too!

Thornhammer22 Apr 2008 8:57 p.m. PST

I'm all over this thing as soon as it comes out. If I get much more excited, I may have to start looking into preorders!

I suspect you'll get a big beasty in every pack. Which big beasty? Well, that's another story…

This does sound interesting, but is apparently a fall release. That's like 3.5 dog years. I want my monsters on Internet time!

Doctor Bedlam23 Apr 2008 4:19 p.m. PST

Sigh. Sure are mealymouthed about information and photos, though. Maybe it'll be ready for Christmas.

New Terrasaur faction preview up.

Militant Greenpeace types follow them around adding to the mayhem. Hilarious.

The question is will the including minis be random within a faction (it looks like there are faction specific boxes) or will they be totally random ? Because being too random is what made the Axis and Allies collectable miniatures game a such a bizarre and lame debacle.
