Mirliton has this great range of medieval characters (25mm), but I am not sure if they sell these knights INCLUDING the horse shown on the pictures. Anybody? |

Horses are included on the characters range. If you want a different horse, some of the characters (riders) are available separate in the nationality sections. I like the Mirliton medievals quite a bit
I also swap their horses in under riders from other manufacturers with poor horse sculpts. Expensive, but looks a lot better. |

How do they compare size wise with other manufacterers? Specifically Gripping Beasts older lines? I have a bunch of GB russians and was thinking of adding some Miriliton figures for more variety, some characters and to bulk up a couple of units. |

If your using the GB horses in your current Russian units they will be shorter than Mirliton ones. The riders will match close in size though. Here is a pic of 3 of my Teutonic Knights (basing to be completed) picture
leftmost rider is Mirliton the other 2 are GB, all mounted on Mirliton horses. I'm not sure I'd mix GB horses and Mirliton horses in the same unit but in separate units they'd be fine. I'll be getting some of the GB Russians too, but will mount them all on Mirliton. Infantry-wise I'll have to doublecheck when I get home from work, but I'd say the Mirliton would be slightly shorter and less bulky (equipment also)
more Perry-like. |

Thanks, that helps. I don't mind a bit of variation but too much looks odd. |
