We will soon be stocking Full Thrust and have recently been running demos in the shop…

Full Thrust has for many years been one of my favourite games and it will be great to finally get it in.

If your passing and fancy a demo then please just ask, but for now a quick battle report of a game that was played today.

I wasn't sure who to cheer for since the NSL and ESU are the two main fleets I own for FT. Nice report and pictures. Unfortunately, I'm in Canada so I won't be passing by any time soon.

What stats did you use for those new-build NSL ships?

Phil Walling21 Apr 2008 1:24 a.m. PST

As it was a quick game we just used the Full Thrust Lite rules and stats from Jon's site.

How did you find the rules to work?

And Phil, are you a UK native? I noticed you used the word "lite". You know there is currently a raging debate over the use of "lite/light" on the gzg mailing list? :-D

And the fight spills over into "The Miniatures Page" set, just as the fight at the end of "Blazing Saddles".

You are a very bad man Indy.

I used to be into Full Thrust but a few years back i sold off all my fleets, plus rulebooks.

My personnel favorite Spaceship miniature game is the StarBlazers game.

It may not be perfect but for me it's pretty good.

Hey, how modular are the new FT ships? Can you mix and match bits/sections across fleets?

As for spill over, I am gonna recruit Mongo as my designated OED smacker as I am too old to be directly involved with with whole fite or lite combat.

I am indeed a UK native.. more than that i'm a Lancastrian.

Lite to me is a strip down version of a ruleset…

Light is something that I can see by…

Thats all imma saying :p

Well, since Jon himself calls them the "FT Lite" rules, you're stuck with it. Personally, I see it as another symptom of the failure of education and the pursuit of idiocy that plagues modern culture, but so be it. grin

Ah, I see from the GZGlist Jon agrees with me. Good.
