I'm building armies based on the Perfect Captain's "Spanish Fury" rules. For the "Millers" I like to use a really good 15mm figure---can anyone suggest where to find one with the approprate cassock? Are there any pictures of these elite horsemen to base my painting on? Mark |

Not sure if it is what you would call 'really good', but Essex do do a 15mm Miller in cassock: link (bottom pic) I have a few dozen of them – they only come in one pose and are a little bland I have to say, but the cassock does give you a bit of room to play with as far as painting is concerned. Mix with a few command figures and maybe a reiter or two, and they start to really pick up. As far as painting goes, there was a thread on the same topic here only a few weeks ago
you will just need to do a little searching. Cheers Paul. |

I know only of Essex off the top of my head, and I am not too keen on them. I have the old Mike's Models (early Essex) Millers, which are beautiful in my opinion, but very small 15mm. Most depictions of Millers I have seen are B&W, but you certainly can't go wrong with white cassocks, and white plumes. |
