With the recent enlargement of my medieval/renaissance village and the writing of swashbuckling adventures, it became obvious that I missed a decent tavern for indoor actions.

So I began to work on the tavern of the Happy Cow

Excellent, nice size and style.

One point, it can help with foam board if you cover the ends with masking tape, stps anything getting at the polystyrene and smooths it off.

Looks good, and a good size too. Curious to see how it will develop further!

Very nice! I may have missed it on the web page, but where are the floor and entrance from?

SgtPerry17 Apr 2008 7:32 a.m. PST

The porch is from Pardulon and the floor is made with Wills plasticard.

That's going to be a pretty sweet model.

Brilliant guinness ! They must serve "Laughing Cow" cheese?

Nice start, I'd skip the masking tape, I tried that and did not enjoy the seams or when it start to let go and had to be glued down. I would suggest spackling paste or paintable
latex caulk.

would you be better off plastering the wall then putting the strips into the wet plaster?

Model looking great, but finger looking bad. Thanks for sharing. I always say I will take lots of pictures and share, but I always get carried away modeling and forget to take those photos.
