While working on some n-scale GFI Hurricanes for a workbench article I finished some n-scale GFI Typhoons. These are nice little multi-part metal kits.

The only modifications I made to the basic kits were to reduce the height of the canopy and to tweak the spinner a bit. Here's a before and after pic that shows the spinner and canopy. picture

And here are the finished models. The invasion stripes are hand painted (I would much rather have decals) and the decals are from Scale Specialties. picture

I have no problem recommending these kits.

Thanks Tom, and thanks for making the nice minis available. They're a pleasure to build and paint. I think I have a half-dozen more Typhoons and a couple of more Hurrie Mk-IIcs to finish and then I'll be looking for a observation plane or two. Kevin
