I have just received a few packs of Venexias Italain wars figures and my query relates mainly to the Landsnecht pike – I'm a bit concerned about the amount of flashing on the figures and at first glance it appears that it will take a lot of effort to place the pike in the ideal position. Is this the norm or am I just over reacting ? |

A friend of mine have also bought Venexia figures and he says they need some cleaning up from flash. He also said the figures were quite brittle. Hands, swords and such could easily break off when cleaning the figures from flash. He gave me the advice to buy some extra packs when ordering as about 1 fig in 10 got damaged for him (losing parts when cleaning them up) So I guess one needs to spend time preparing the figures and do it carefully to avoid damage. |

I purchased my Venexias a couple of years ago, and there were no great flash issues. Placing the pike on some poses is interesting, but with care you can get good results. The photos on the venexia website are useful examples. |
