I was reading Boyington's Baa Baa Blacksheep. He talks about his nesei guard know to Boyington as Suyako who was raise in Hawaii. In his book the war crimes trials group contacted him and asked him to confirm that he (Boyington) had given him his watch, and that he had helped him. Boyington did, confirm that, and asked them to treat him well. Does anyone know Suyako's fate and who he was? |
