I just picked up the new Freddy VS Jason Horrorclix action pack from Wizkids. I must say the figures look much better than I thought they would and their powers seem pretty cool as well.

Anyone else pick this up? Thoughts?

Nice figures. Mediocre paint job, but this can be corrected. Nicely balanced two-player miniatures game, self contained, requiring no other purchases, costing less than many boardgames.

Handy gift item for gamers. Neat departure from the usual zombie game for Halloween! And tell me you can't get any use out of the Camp Crystal Lake map…

I picked it up, but then I've got just about everything for HorrorClix. Honestly, I think the terrain pieces (open grave, stove) and the maps are my favorite parts. But then (ironically) I don't really like horror movies that much, so Jason and Freddy don't excite me.

I fear the Sequel power, having seen some ludicrously lucky people over the years. But for a light game, a good chunk of random chance is allowable…

I picked it up. I really like the Freddy sculpt on the duo figure. The face is great on mine. I'm thinking of picking another one up to pop the bases off to use in other games.

I plan on picking a set up… mostly for a nice Jason Vorhees model… don't play clix… but love the cheap prepainted figures for other games…
