I heard somewhere that Pegasus will be releasing WWII French in plastic similar to their early war germans. Anybody have any news on this? Thanks, -CH |

I am waiting for them, too. As long as I know, they arenīt selling them yet (sorry about my english). What I find weird, is that pegasus hobbies donīt talk about their 1:72 miniatures in their website |

OOO! Huge news! I was prepared to buy Revell WW1 French for early war stuff, but might wait for these. |

Apologies if I'm telling people things they already know, but Pegasus seem to have a 'hidden' website which details their 1/72 releases and forthcoming projects (amongst other things). You'd probably never find it by googling pegasus+miniatures, but try this (the 1940 French are on there

Unfortunately, the December News at the top of the page seems to be from 2006 & they say the 1939 Germans were actually made in 1/76 scale due to a problem at the production facility. Also that the WW2 French were supposed to be coming out in 2007. So not do the French seem to be late, but it sounds like they might not be in the same scale as the Germans. I hope they're doing well in sorting this all out since the figures look great. |

IIRC the German 1939 infantry was going to replaced by an actual 1/72 set sometime soon. But yes, the French look very good as do most Pegasus figs. Chris |
