I am in the process of building a Rules Directory similar to the now-defunct directory here on TMP. I'm looking for volunteers to write reviews as well. The goal of these reviews is less about a critical review as about an overview of the rules. It should eliminate a lot of those "what dice do these rules use?" and "tell me about Rules AXZ – how do they handle combat?" type threads here on TMP. The latest review I have published is of Schwere Kompanie. The overview was written by the author. You can check it all out here: link And you can leave comments of your own as well! We'd especially like to hear from people who actively play these games! Mark "Extra Crispy" Severin Owner, ScaleCreep.com Author, DeepFriedHappyMice.com |

This should probably be a news item or something, so it gets the attention of more people. |

Schwere Kompanie is a great ruleset. Quite daunting at first as the degree of complexity is high (in terms of detail not mechanics) but it plays really well. We use it now as a "step down" from Spearhead, smaller gamescale but more individual unit detail. Also Troy's 1/285th figures are probably the finest examples of painted Microtanks you will ever see. |

Troy is completely insane with his painting and scratch building. Although his technique is easy to do and looks good even when I do it. lol |
