Hello all, quite some time ago, I seem to recall(I'm fairly certain I actually saw it, and I didn't just imagine it…) seeing a certain camo scheme, where the upper half of the aircraft was painted a dark(I think) blue that was either mottled or in a digital-looking scheme(perhaps splinter?), and the bottom half was a bright yellow.

If you guys have any information on such a scheme, please let me know, as this has kind of been bugging me and I can't find anything even remotely close. I've looked through a few books and countless websites, and have yet to even see a scheme that is anywhere near close to resembling a digital-style camo scheme(primitive-looking or otherwise) on german aircraft, let alone one that is a dark blue color or has a yellow underbelly(which if you think about it is rather counter-intuitive).

It rings a bell with me, that yellow underbellies wereon experimental aircraft.

Close, but like I said, the blue wasn't solid, it was more mottled like a camo pattern(and I am fairly certain it looked pseudo-digital from a distance). Also, I'm fairly certain the blue extended back to the tail, but I'm not certain.

I'm beginning to wonder if the underside was yellow though. I noticed that lots of German aircraft at the time had yellow on various parts of the plane(usually towards the front). Perhaps the underbelly was actually white, and there was just a fair amount of yellow on it, which could explain why I'm so confused.

Thanks for the help so far.
