I bought 7 of the micro-universe 3 pack Dr Who boosters and received the following:

Commons (8):
The Moxx of Balhoon
Clockworkman 1
Dalek
Pig Slave
Cyberman
Empty Child x2 (one of my favs)
Sycorax Leader

Uncommons (7):
Werewolf x2
Mr Saxon
K-9
Assault Dalek
Mickey Smith
Clockwork Man 2

Rares (6):
The Doctor in Long Coat (well done, lots of character
Martha Jones
Sarah Jane Smith
Dalek Sec
Dalek Sec Hybrid x 2

Each pack also had a Tardis spinner for the game; they spin for a long time…

I was hoping to get a few Slitheen or Ood, but really won't complain.

I used the company that ppl pointed me to in my earlier thread about sources in the US. Shipping was very fast, < 7 days to Houston, TX.

What is this you speak of? From what you've posted it sounds like it's a Dr. Who collectible miniatures game. Do you have a link to a website? I'm definitely interested.

I pre-ordered these for the store for US costomers. I'll have them here in Iowa hopefully in the next couple months. This US comic distributor is dead slow at releasing anything….

Check back with me as I have ordered a couple cases inclusing the ships…

The crazy thing is that the common, uncommon, rare definitions do not match reality!!!

The Moxx of Balhoon is supposed to be a common, but check the prices for it on ebay.

Black Cavalier14 Mar 2008 2:21 a.m. PST

Is there a good online gallery of these figures? The ebay pictures never are good enough.

slobberblood14 Mar 2008 5:01 a.m. PST

Hey Redroom, what's that US distro?

anevilgiraffe14 Mar 2008 6:01 a.m. PST

human figures tend to lack definition…

there are some pics in this thread that should help

Interested in the Daleks, but not on those bases. How hard is it to pop the Daleks off their bases? Looks like a huge gluing surface . . .

Jayster14 Mar 2008 9:10 a.m. PST

They are fully molded with the base. removing legged subjects isn't too difficult – (as long as you are very careful.) But the ones like Daleks / Moxx etc…. Well, I believe there is a techincal term for how easy it is to remove them without causing any damage ;)

anevilgiraffe – Thank you for the link to the forum with pictures of the Dr. Who minis mixed in with other figures!

Napthyme, where in Iowa are you located?

jpattern214 Mar 2008 10:33 a.m. PST

Crikeys! Thanks, Jayster, guess I'll be skipping them then.

anevilgiraffe14 Mar 2008 11:42 a.m. PST

they are very easy to remove… I've taken four Daleks off to do as Cult of Skaro Daleks… although they are thicker, they are the same plastic and you just have to push on through and keep level with the base… some greenstuffing will probably result to hide any mishaps, but as that will be limited to the skirt if you don't intend to repaint the whole show you should be ok with just a run of black paint… the bender plungers are another matter, but I will be replacing them…

the MU figures in the top pic are all rebased and that dalek in particular was quite smoothly removed I have to assume from the absence of visible greenstuff in that picture….

Redroom14 Mar 2008 3:01 p.m. PST

I ordered from: whona.com

They appear to have some of the 7 packs in now.

napthyme14 Mar 2008 3:29 p.m. PST

@David Musser I'm in southern Iowa town called Chariton. I do do mail orders, so Shipping is not a prob…

PaddySinclair15 Mar 2008 6:34 p.m. PST

My local Tesco was selling the three packs as Buy One, Get One Free for £4.97 GBP – still no sign of my missing figures though after buying 10 :(

Tanuki17 Mar 2008 4:52 a.m. PST

I've heard that there was a bit of a mix up with the distribution of figures. When the packs first started appearing at the end of last year, only 18 (IIRC) of the 26 minis were included.

The remaining 8 figures have started to appear in packs the past month or so, but getting them is still spotty. Looking at the visible figures in the packs in Toys'R'Us and Woolies, I can't see nay of the "new" figures yet. So the high auction prices for the Moxx of Balhoon, Cyberleader, Pig Slave, Professor Yana, Ood, Empty Child, Sycorax Leader and Hoix figures on Ebay are a result of their current scarcity.

Figures are ok – bendy plastic, the monster figures are fine but the humans, as anevilgiraffe mentioned, are a little featureless. They do look as though they could paint up well.
