I was wondering if anyone here has had any dealings good, bad or otherwise with Blacktree designs, or can tell me if they've gone out of business. I ordered approximately 100 figs from them in late Dec. and have yet to receive them. They initially were answering my emails but are no longer doing so. Any insight would be appreciated. |

That sounds bleak. My last order was in September last year and everything went dandy. |

Location (i.e. Where you live) has a lot to do with that. I've not ordered anything from them recently, but I always receive my orders. Never on time though. US customs held up one of my orders for a few months once. |

Several orders in 2007 direct from the UK to California with no problems. |

Great service, believe they have relocated to Texas, or have a US branch, thought I was ordering from UK, but the package return address was Texas. |

I've had some problems with the Black Tree USA branch. I'm still waiting for the cavalry riders I ordered back in November. Got the horses, but no riders. Good thing these weren't for a customer. As an aside, I don't care for how they ship their figs. I ordered a Saxon army and the figs were just dumped into a padded envelope. The spears, axes, and various bits sticking out are pretty beat up. |

I have an order in at the moment, they phoned me to say it would be coming out in a couple of days. That will be a week from placing it, so as far as i can see no problems. Give them a phone, the order could have been misplaced. |

I placed an order (to the US store) in late December and got it about a month later. |

I would bet it is growing pains. Cant be easy setting up a warehouse facility across the pond. Try giving them a call. |

I ordered an army deal at the end of November. Didn't start recieving the order until February, I recieved the next installment the first week of March along with an apology and some extra figures. I am now waiting on them to respond to emails that I sent about the (missing) last installment of 28 figures. I have called BTD and have tried to be understanding of their recent problems with the computer and the opening of the US branch but

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I emailed John from BTD after I saw his message on a different thread. Guess I'll just have to be patient and hope for the best at this point. I don't mind the delay nearly as much as the unanswered emails. |

I am still having problems with BTD, they can't get 5 packs to me and i ordered them in March, they tell me they are out of stock and it may be 3-4 weeks bofore they can restock, i am in the u.k. Very poor service. |

I am taking a zen approach to things since nothing I order these days take less than a month to arrive, if ever. I ordered two separate order two mots ago, the first one arrived within five days (last time I got lucky) but not the other. After a month I emailed BTD and got a friendly reply within a few hours, telling me that some items were out of stock but that after waiting three weeks they sent the rest and that the out of stock items would follow a week after. So if I am lucky some goodies will appear within the next few of weeks. My advice is to email or call BTD, I find them very friendly and always intent on setting records straight. I am in Sweden, which postal wise is now worse than Canada, Burkina Faso and Italy put together. So I always judge a company's efficiency by the date of posting rather than the day of arrival. |

I placed an order for some WW2 figures in February from the US branch. Still waiting, no feed back and no figures. But, my credit card was billed promptly. Austin |
