Greetings, Am looking at picking up some of Litko's flight stands for 15mm WWII, Modern and SF, and was wondering about the durability, how much weight they can hold, etc.? Thanks, Paul |

I got some a while back to use for Wings of War. 1/144 scale planes. The bases I have are the 1.5 inch and are fine for up to that size of plane. For WWI and WWII. Small resin 15mm should be fine at low heights but I would not use anything big/heavy or at a high height. For our 28mm we are using a large wood base and a thick stand made of plexiglass. They are a nice product, but I will be using something different for my Old Crow VTOL's. One of the guys I game with has his on a metal tripod type of stand. It has an adjustable center to raise the height of the model. I do not know were he go it however. |

They are fine with 1/300 aircraft. You can see them here customized by the addition of a 1/8" magnet glued to the stand and speed indicator. link For 1/300 bombers I attached a steel thumbtack directly to the plane's cg and I dont use the craft clothespin attachment for bank attitude. The Litco stands are nice and the price is right IMO. |
