Here are a few photos of Monsterapocalypse (which looks very cool despite being a collectible game) and the WoW game.

Check out that pile of red and blue dice ala Heroscape!

I like. Looks like a good source of miniatures to use for other games…and monsterapocalypse, too, of course. ahem.

I'll buy some packs just to see the cool models. Then I might read the rules.

Privateer Press minitures you DON'T need to assemble! How novel!

For this I don't really care if they are collectable actually. That is usually a huge turn off for me but with giant stompy monsters I don't care which ones I get.

Actually, I think I read reference to damageable model scyscrapers :)

The latest NJo Quarter magazine has a 2-page preview of two of the 'monsters'; a Gundam-style giant robot operated by the not-really-UN world army*, and the not-really-godzilla, who is 'controlled' (or possibly not) by a radical anti-technology faction of eco-warriors.

*It explains how they have a bit of a reputation for collateral damage; hte British government tried to present them with a bill for the damage caused to central London, only to back down when presented with a much larger bill for medical expenses, combat pay, ordnance expenditure and maintenance costs, in return.
