My wife found her Eureka AWI theme teddy bear soldiers (put away for safe keeping
) and has decided on a paint scheme but she wants a Teddy Bear theme flag. Okay, one word. HELP! I know there are historical flag websites but Teddy Bears?? Gracias, Glenn |

Most of the flags from Hesse Kassel have a Bear Rampant on the flag. You might use some of those for inspiration. Honey pots and bumble bees might be another idea. |

How about something "Smoky the Bear", but change the hat to the appropriate helmet of your troops or crown? Post what she decides to use

Sorry DAF. It's a lion on Hesse-Kassel flags. |

Well the emblem of warwick is a bear, and one of the swiss cantons has a bear on its flag as well, or find a nice pic of Pooh

What about using a picnic blanket as the flag? It could be tartan or checked as you choose and would fit the teddy bear theme. |

I think this is the site that e.g. Bluebear Jeff used to create his Imagi-nation flags, the FLGEN: Flag-Generator: link |

For my seven years picnic figures I put a picnic basket on a red checked picnic blanket. |

I wish that we could get Nic at Eureka to add some kiddie wagons for the bears to cart things around. I'd also like to see some characters based on the original Shepard illustrations done for Milne's origin Winnie the Pooh books (not the Disney versions) and maybe call them "Stuffed Animals" or something like that. What I really need is a figure that looks like the original Piglet (who is my daughter's favorite). |

Poruchik a/k/a Synflood painted some bears for his niece and did a nice "queen bee" flag. Check it out here: link |

I wish that we could get Nic at Eureka to add some kiddie wagons for the bears to cart things around. Go to an AC Moore's or Michael's crft store. Both have full walls of what I can only describe as
stuff. There is where I got my 28mm Grand Piano for my Pirate Saloon. I am sure I have seen Little Red Wagons on the same wall. |

Honey pot flanked by bumble bees on a red checkered field. Or perhaps cookies, the teddy bears in my house seem to like cookies quite a lot. |

I've so far painted a 'battalion' of bears – in basically Prussian colours :-). Their standard is the one from Eureka with the duck at its head, so I'm going to use Prussian flags and photo shop out the prussian eagle and put a yellow bath duck in its place. I've just started an Austrian coloured Battalion (based on de Ligne, pink facings). Not sure what I'll do for their colour. Daryl |

If you go with a Pooh Bear on your flag, check out the Latin translation of the first Pooh book for appropriate legends. For example, the English version starts out (going from memory here) "Here comes Pooh Bear," which is rendered in the Latin, "Ecce ursus." Grelber |

Would that be a two-headed Imperial Bath Duck? :D The Teddy Bears in this house really like Cheerios, but I think they'd get more creative in their flagmaking than just going with that. |

Would that be a two-headed Imperial Bath Duck? :D That's a good suggestion, miniMo. |

Gee, I wonder what flag I should give my badgers in kilts!!!" More importantly, what are the sporrans made of? well if humans use badger skins, badgers can use human, and from what little I know of badgers, I know of a certain peice of skin that is already pouch shaped
