Later this year, Upper Deck is coming out with a WoW game. Sounds pretty interesting. I'll probably buy some singles for other gaming, if they are cheap enough. Full story at the link. link Four SKUs have been announced: a fixed two-player Starter Set, a randomized Deluxe Starter Set, Booster Packs, and a giant-size Onyxia Raid Set that allows the player to either play against an automated Onyxia or play the black dragon. Each mini will come on a removable base, so it can be used both as a game piece and a collectible. Game play will include standalone raid and dungeon scenarios. Players will be able to either battle individually or cooperatively against teams of players or the game itself. |

Mmmm, plasticrack. I AM fond of the WoW design, though I have made LD to avoid the MMO infection. I will have to throw my lot in with Mutant Chronicles, however. At least if FFG ever actually releases it. |

That *AXE*! Wow. I guess I need to know if they'll be making low-level toons into minis that don't look quite that PCP-fueled. |

Oh, man
Will I ever stop? Now, it's time to get rid of all those DnD figs that were doubling for Warcraft goodies! I mean, you really can't beat their style, if it's true to the game designs! |

I'm more interested in seeing if they include any morlocs. |

I'd love to do some mass battles set in the Warcraft universe- if the commons cover enough basic troops and can be had on ebay for the right price I might finally be able to do it. -Will |

I'd like to see some of the Dragonkin in miniature form. Cool designs, those. |

I couldn't find any mention of scale anywhere but I'm really hoping for 28mm to maybe 32mm figures to fit in with most of my fantasy minis. Hopefully more detailed info will be appearing soon. |

Saw more photos at the UD website. These look great. I don't play WoW but always liked the look over current D&D. They should fit in with other figures. I am going to buy these by the booster, which I haven't done in years. |

From the Upper Deck site at link Paint schemes were designed by Studio McVey. "The quality level of this product is unprecedented in the collectible miniatures category," said 20-year-veteran miniatures painter Mike McVey. "This is a product I am happy to put my name behind." I was wondering what they were going to do after they left Privateer Press, besides commission work. Question answered! |

Well, they are just touching the pieces up and telling the faceless mas what colors to use
It's not like they will do all of them, but it's nice to see Mike is still doing what he loves and getting paid to pass the word. =) |

I know alot of people are going to be against these figures becuase they are based upon "wow". But to be honest I think I might get a few to give it a true, plus they could be nice to re-paint because being 40mm there is plenty of detail. |
