Picked up some on ebay. Think they are a bit larger than marx ? Not a bad sculpt but prefer marx. Have some primed but never got around to paintin' 'em yet. Paul |

I am probably the generation after you Marx guys so they were my introduction to toy soldiers. Got mine in the early 70s and are what generated interest in the Civil War for me. Probably hand me downs but enjoyed them. So in terms of pure nostalgia they rank high for me. I suspect that the BUM figures (the ones sold at gift shops in Gettysburg?) my boys play with will some day be along the same lines for them. Nathan |
