I've been experimenting with photobucket, so thought I'd post these. Hopefully I've set it up properly and you'll be able to see them.

I should give credit where it's due. The airfield is completely inspired (some say ripped off) from Grimm's work.

The Zeppelin design was taken from Historical Hobbies.com and then built by Black Knight Studios – who I can't recommend highly enough.

And almost all miniatures in the gallery are painted by the outstanding Jon Atter.

Great figures, especially the Zepplin.

I especially enjoyed seeing the alteranate color schemes that Jon painted on your Galacteers.

There's a new star in the firmament. Excellent work!

You may wish to pare out the duplicates, and to distribute your photos into themed albums (sci fi pulp, WWII Artizans, Egyptologists, etc.)

cotedelachevre – thanks for the kind words. You're quite right about dividing them up into different folders. I'll try and sharpen up my photobucket skills and sort them out.

Scorpio – 'Khotan' is Westwind Productions\Old Glory Chaos in Cairo range.

Thanks.

Surfer – Cheers. I picked the Tripod up on Ebay so not sue on the manufacturer – it might be Monolith Designs.

CC – The three apes are Bob Murch's Pulp Figures (Lost World PLT10 Killer Apes) link

The Giant Ape is a Reaper model (Reaper Miniatures #3052, Kabaka, Ape Lord) and he's huge!

Great job on all of them. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the comments.

Just spent any hour sorting out some folders – so it should now be a bit easier to browse – just use the side menu.

Uti do you have a web address or contact information for Black Knight Studios?

Very nice collection you have there! Too bad your not in San Diego… I'll bet you put on some great Pulp games!=)

uti long smile27 Jan 2008 8:29 a.m. PST

Cheers Darkoath – I'm in the UK I'm afraid, so the commute would be a nightmare ;)

Black Knight don't have a website I'm afraid, but they do sell via eBay. The mail address for is:

black-knight-studios@hotmail.co.uk

Darren's a great bloke – but they've just had a baby, so he may be a bit busy!

Just taken some more shots, so will post a little later.

Darkoath27 Jan 2008 9:27 a.m. PST

Uti do you know what his ebay ID is?

Can't wait to see your new photos!

uti long smile27 Jan 2008 12:23 p.m. PST

Just added a new gallery under the Battle Boards folder – 'Zeppelin Attacks'. The Zeppelin Troopen attack a Californian Airport. The airport and hanger (inspired by Grimm) are Plasticville models with nothing but a base board and a coat of paint.

link

Darkoath – Can't seem to find Black Knight's Ebay address, but I'll find out for you.

Oxiana29 Jan 2008 5:04 a.m. PST

Who makes these funky flying robots?

picture

Rattrap129 Jan 2008 5:17 a.m. PST

Those Robots are Killer B.

And uti: FANTASTIC site! I love the Zeppelin attack pictures.

uti long smile01 Feb 2008 11:28 a.m. PST

Plus a whole new Doctor Who gallery

Addams – The armed apes are Lance and Laser Baboons (originally sculpted by Bob Murch I think)

Darkoath – Black Knight's ebay account is black-knight-studio, but nothing online at the mo. Darren's trying to sort out a Photobucket gallery so hopefully they'll be pics available soon (baby permitting)!
