So I have been ordering from this company a few times already on line. Today on my order I got this: Our security department has certain rules we have to follow when a customer uses a credit card to place an order. For your order, you are shipping to an address that isn't your billing address, or your credit card is not for an American bank. Please choose one of the following to continue I understand that I will need to go through a security check that will take about 4 days to complete. After the security check is approved, I will never need to go through that security check again for TrollAndToad.com, and will become a Verified Customer, with full credit card privileges Now what PO'ed me about this is earlier in the week I overed over $500 USD worth of stuff, shipped to the same different address and same credit card. This time it was about $12.00 USD worth of stuff. It took me forever to get them to respond to my emails and direct phone calls on the first order to begiing with. Anyone have any experience with Troll and Toad in Ky. before? VR James Mattes |

Nope. I think if someone hit me with something like that my inclination would be to cancel the order. |

verifications can be done instantly when processing a cc. However, cc rules require retailers to verify the billing address of the credit card. Shipping to an alternate address can always be a risk for the retailer. Why it would take them 4 days to do it is beyond me. Personally unless I know the customer, I ask. According to their policy, shouldn't you already be trusted? |

Yes that is my point I already ordered over $500 USD worth of stuff, now on an order of 12-18 bucks this! VR James Mattes |

I'd be out the door and ordering from somebody else as soon as I got that email. I have very little patience for those sort of automated messages

Troll & Toad are generally kind of irritating to deal with. Their prices are often highway robbery when you do a little shopping around, and getting a human being in customer service is a chore to boot. They do carry a lot of stuff, but there are almost always better places to buy from. |

Yes in general I have found two or three other stores that do have better prices. It is just they gave me a good deal on 5 Star Wars Miniatures AT-ATs. VR James Mattes |
