James has written a report of the last battle fought before Christmas – The Battle of Ferrara. Lots of pictures as usual at pikeandplunder.blogspot.com |

I enjoyed the battle report. Can you tell me what rules you used? I also thought the figures were excellent
what manufacturer are they? I have always been very fond of this period having been hooked by playing Machiavelli but have always struggled with rules

The rules are Piquet with the Band of Brothers supplement. The figures are a right old mix. Most of the infantry are Old Glory, with some Foundry, and a few Essex. The Cavalry are Old Glory, with the exception of the Gendarmes which are Foundry, plus a couple of units of Redoubt Mtd crossbows. |
