Played my first Intercept/Escort mission with the Air Pirates/Mustangs rules last night, Eastern front to Fw190's escorting a pair of Stuka, I had a pair of MiG 3's with which to defend the motherland. The 190's came in to fast and overshot causing only minor damage to one of my aircraft and leaving me to slot in perfectly behind the dive bombers. Then my luck deserted me and I managed only light damage to one of my targets over three consecutive turns of firing before the German fighters got themselves turned round and tore me from the sky.
So why am I boasting, well my opponent was my wife and she loves the game so the loss was well worth it in terms of future gaming and domestic happiness.

Color me jealous. I'd settle for a gamer tolerant girlfriend, but one that actually gamed would be a dream come true grin

Guess I'm a lucky ba$tard then… mine is interested in minis and enjoyed the CY6 game at Historicon enough to justify bying it and the scenario books. :-)

Mine supports my hobby fully.

But then she was in my FRPG campaign for years, does counted cross-stitch and wants to be into quilting…yep, a fellow addict ,ust a different 'drug' that floats her boat!

Gracias,
