I need some plastic toy cavemen for a children's game I am thinking of running. I see that I can get vintage Mark figures on e-bay, but I would rather not cut up and convert originals if I can help it. That said any sort of toy plastic cavemen will do, qas I am sure I either have or can scrounge dinos, mammals etc to match. |

Wal-mart sometimes carries buckets of dinosaurs with a plastic mountain and some cavemen. |

There is a Russian company that makes excellent cavemen, 54mm plastic. Email me for painted photos igwarg@netzero.net or check link and scroll down. |

Safari Ltd does Prehistoric Life Toobs (yes, I can spell better than that, but it's what they call them) which contain a roughly 54mm plastic caveman, a cavewoman and child. They contain various other things (sloth, mammoth, fire) in varying scales--the cavemen are about twice the height of the mammoth. I've seen these at Michael's craft shops, HobbyTown USA, and some toy stores. The website is here: safariltd.com Do a search for prehistoric life toob and scroll down. The photo on their site does do a good job of showing the relative sizes of the contents. Grelber |

I have a bag of 20-30 (that I think are asian rip-offs of the Marx sets) picked them up in the 'rubbish' aisle of a toy shop somewhere. I'll never use them so you're welcome to them but I'm in Australia, so postage will cost more than the figures. Let me know if you are desperate – iceaxe at jeack com au |

Hi iceaxe – if you still have the plastic cavemen, I'd be interested in buying them. I'm in Australia. I did try your email, but it doesn't seem to be working. You can mail me at bookofjack@gmail.com |
