Anyone had any luck contacting RBP lately? I have just boxed up a heap of 6mm figures and went to their web site to download the customs documents to find it has been suspended.

Chortle (RBP) visited TMP yesterday, so hopefully he'll see your post soon and let us know what's up.

I noticed that the other day as well. I hope they didn't get caught up in the cyclone…the damage in Bangladesh looks to be incredible.

That was my concern.

I have just had an email from Neal, so they are still functioning.

They weren't affected by the cyclone.

Up and down like the Asyrian empire. It is just a problem with my hosting. Story below

Saturday 8th December

A few days ago a customer told me that my web site was down and that I¡¦d probably forgotten to pay the bill. They were right! I pay for hosting every two years and since I paid I have changed email addresses. Presumably all the reminders went to the wrong address. My credit card expired in that period so that automatic renewal wasn¡¦t possible. So I went online and paid for another two years with my new credit card.

It should have taken only twelve hours to process my payment. A day later I had an email from the fraud department saying I had to call them. When paying for my hosting service I used my Bangladesh address but I think my UK address is currently used for my credit card.

I had to change my credit card over to my UK address temporarily in order to satisfy Paypal. My paypal account is a UK account. Strangely they don¡¦t yet support Bangladesh ƒº Once my Paypal account received more than 4500 pounds Paypal had to comply with European Union anti money laundering provisions and verify certain facts about me. Giving them a credit card bill addressed to my UK address helped satisfy their requirements. I think I forgot to change my credit card billing address back afterwards.

I picked up my telephone and prepared to call my hosting provider. The line was dead. I got my guys to trace the line and they told me it was broken. I have spare cable (you have to buy your own phone cable in Bangladesh) which we paid out from my end. Outside I found that the line had been cut and about fifteen feet was missing. Someone had stolen fifteen feet of my telephone wire! A consequence of these miscreants cutting my wire was that they tripped a fuse box for the telephone system. We immediately imformed the local telephone people who have an office a few hundred yards away. Unfortunately they haven¡¦t been able to walk that distance from Thursday 4pm until the time of writing.

My telephone is back up and I've contacted my hosting company. Since we are about 12 hours out of sync with USA no one was there to pickup my call. The saga continues..

I had word from my hosting company that my site should be back up in 12 hours. Fingers crossed!

The problem with my hosting service has had no impact on our work.

Hi all, this is my first post on TMP and is a (very) positive one. I used Neil's painting service for the first time a few weeks ago, ordering two ready-painted AWI 6mm Bacchus armies from him. I received them about a week after he received my bank transfer (I'm based in England), and was very impressed. The painting AND basing was of a very high standard-better than any previous painter I've used, and I've used quite a few…Thanks Neil!

Cheers
Anthony
