Would any one know what the name of the book is that covers 1500 to 1700? I have the Medieval volumes and From Pike to Shot already, but was looking for the book that covered the ECW. And is it available, if so where? Any help is great appreciated. Respectfully, Bill |

Short answer. There isn't one |

George Gush's Renaisaance armies, 1450-1680 is pretty close in scope and format to a WRG book. It was published in 1982, ISBN 0850596041. And Ian Heath did a 2-volume set Armies of the Sixteenth Century, which is much more recent. |

I was afraid that would be the answer
Anyway thanks for the responses, I appreciate it. That is an interesting link, I'll have to explore that one. Respectfully, Bill |

Most of Gush' Renaissance Armies 1450-1680 can be found at myarmoury.com/features.html See the links at the bottom of the middle column. Sadly for comrade Bartlett, the chapters on the ECW are not included |

Gush's work was pretty close to the WRG ideal but appeared from a series of articles he did for Airfix magazine back in the 70's. It's not a bad place to start and he wrote the old WRG rules for the period. The problem is the rules are now horribly dated. |

The problem is the rules are now horribly dated. Agree. If you can wait TooFatLardies are working on a set which should be great if you like their style. |
