Hi, found this on Wikipedia. It's a list of fictional countries.

link

Thought it might come in handy for the odd scenario.

I am shocked to not find Bongolesia there! Shocked, I tell you!
(Bongo Congo doesn't really come close…)

What, Ningamia is not there. The troubled south pacific island not too far from Indonesia. The nations clans are obsessed with fueding, AK-47's and beer.

Hey, I didn't say it was definitive!!!

Just thought it might come handy for the odd campaign.

Not a bad list for those who like that kinda thing…

I happen to have "The Dictionary of Imaginary Places" by Alberto Manguel and Gianni Guadalupi sitting in my book shelf, incidentally… A nice big book on broadly the same subject (has other types of places besides countires in it and also includes stuff that's not on "Earth of our age", such as Tolkien's Middle Earth), though by now well out of date of course.

No Slobbovia, huh?

So much for THAT list!

This being Wikipedia, why not add it?

Sure enough, they have the Duchy of Grand Fenwick. It's under "G".wink

I also learned something new. Mongoose Publishing has used the fictional country of Kreplakistan as a setting for games of their Battlefield Evolution game. What I didn't know is that this is the same as the country mentioned in the Austin Powers movies. Since I had not seen any of the Austin Powers films, I didn't get the "joke". Now I do. wink

I guess someday I'll see those films but I'm not running to the video store just yet…

The esteemed diplomat of Bingabango is shocked and offended at his country's noninclusion, and has declared trade sanctions on all parties involved.

No jenkem for you!
