Hi! I just wanted to let you all know that Campaigner is now available. You can make your own campaigns with whichever game systems you like to play. We'll be adding our own campaigns as time goes on, including templates (for game systems) and maps. If there's a particular campaign you'd like to see done, just let us know! racingspidergames.com Feel free to discuss Campaigner or any other campaigning system in this thread as well! :D |

Thanks Racing. I mentioned your s/w in my latest blog post at wardepot.blogspot.com. I hope that is okay. I will be sending lots of feedback as I get through some testing of using the system for Empire V napoleonic campaigns. |

wardepot.blogspot.com Yours had an extra "." in it. :D I'll take a look at your site, I'm very interested in how the campaigns turn out. In the demo, the detection ranges and reinforcement ranges aren't all that great, but since you can create your own campaigns and unit types, you will have complete control in your designed campaigns. |

Why do I need to download additional software to run this? And it seems that this additional .NET stuff requires that I use IE. I use Opera. Seems like a lot of obstacles to a sale. |

The .NET Framework allows quicker development of applications by providing a powerful set of objects and in general, a programming structure. Its what helps small teams develop complicated software. I was unaware that you MUST have IE to install it, and for that, I apologize. Microsoft does like to force people to use their stuff. However, you don't need IE to run Campaigner after you install the .NET Framework, so you can of course remove it. |
