Has anyone ever released a Lucas McCain type figure (or a Mark?) I've taken a real shine to this show, and would love to build a little North Fork in 28mm – and maybe get some of the characters to play western games with (Was going to do a Deadwood, and still may – one can never have too many cowboys or buildings). Any thoughts, or similar experiences? |

This is a classic. I have been pestering Mike at Artizan to do one. His style fits the Chuck Connors look and body type perfectly. He is a classic American western hero. The show, for the most part is expertly written and loads of fun. My kids watch it all the time and love it. You get just the right balance of action and drama. The characters that need to be done are Lucas (The Rifleman), his son Mark and the Marshal-Micah. Great family show!!! |

Hey, and while he is at it Mike can go ahead and sculpt Chuck Connors as the hero from Branded! (Can't remember his name.) |

Miniature Building Authority has this ranch that looks a lot like Lucas's ranch house. link |

The Rifleman was a great show. Good stories, a moral slant to everything, and identifiable bad guys and good folk. Chuck Connors was the main character in Branded. Not sure if Jason McCord was in the series too but he was not the main character. Does anyone else remember another ill-fated Chuck Connors series called "Cowboy in Africa?" One (short) season of pure pain. Memorable only because it was so bad. |

We also need a bounty-hunter with a sawed-off rifle and a rebel kepi.. you could call him Johnny Yuma.. (he'd look sorta like Steve McQueen) We also need a guy who'd be easy to paint.. somebody all in black, say.. maybe with a little silver chess knight on his holster, just to add a little color.. And, just to round things out.. how about some Latinos..? You could call 'em Cisco an Pancho.. And last but not least.. a Canadian Mounty.. maybe he could have a dog.. fiftiesweb.com/western.htm |

bandit86 – My error! Stupid me thought you were saying the actor in Branded was "Jason McCord." It seems like the only exercise this old body gets consists of jumping to conclusions and running my mouth
