Despite the date being wrong
.for which the miscreant responsible will be severely beaten with a feather duster
. the Group North Open Day (which is on the 28th of this month
.not the 29th) is an excellent and very friendly event held in the north of ADELAIDE South Australia. It has grown year by year and is always worth while attending. Food, drinks, coffee etc available, plus of course Andrew of Military Hobbies
.and the ever charming "Please hand over your money" Nic Robson of Eureka
who's offerings always attract a crowd. I will be running an Ancient siege battle set in Spain. Those Wascally Womans are trying to take a hill top town perched on a precipitous mountain. Will the siege tower make it to the wall? Will the Romans in torteus get those ladders up and be able to assault? Will Spanish prayers to the golden bull, turn the attackers back? Or will the High Priestess have a large rock fall on her head as the attackers put down a barrage of ballistae fire? All will be revealed as the dice roll relentlessly on. SOME ADDITIONAL PLAYERS would be welcome. If any players from TMP are attending, I'd enjoy the company of some additional players. Our LLes is out of contact, and Big Trev is somewhere on tour in darkest Africa, so its just Baldric and I. Mal. Wright. |

"Those Wascally Womans are trying to take a hill top town perched on a precipitous mountain". Trying to take a hill? We need to talk about Masada Mal! It's not a matter of "if", but a matter of "when". ;-) - Greg |

Hello group. Does anyone know of a decent set of seige rules for the ancient period? Medival period would be good to I would just adjust for the different time period. |
