I recently joined the Rochester Gamers Community and this weekend we hosted a 24-hour gaming event at JimmyJams, a local gaming/comic book store. I ran two games, a 15mm Flames of War Stalingrad scenario and a WW2 air combat game using 1/72 plastic models and homebrew rules. The entire event was well run and attended, and I was interviewed by a local TV station (KAAL-TV in Austin, Minnesota) that aired on the late Saturday news. Here are some photos from the event, and a few relevant links: picture picture picture picture picture picture picture rochestergaming.com |

Looks like fun. How much red bull did you drink in 24 hours? |

So ya coming up to St Paul for MGCon, November 16-18? I'm running Fighting Wings on Friday night and Saturday from noon til close. Early Pacific stuff. Buffalos vs Ki-43s on Friday, Zeros vs P-36s over Pearl Saturday afternoon, Zeros vs B-26s and P-39s in the evening. |

Gozerius -- I think I will. I enjoyed it last year. I have been a little concerned by the lack of information about this year's MGCON on the website. Is there a list of events anywhere? |

Not yet. I've had trouble getting info all year and just got a pre-reg packet in the mail a couple weeks ago. They seem to be doing a lot of stuff but haven't kept their website current. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I missed last year due to a new family addition. |
