Anyone have them? I'd like to get some feedback before going through the overseas ordering process. Thanks! GregS |

They look nice, but they also look like they might be a pain in the neck to assemble since they come with separate arms and heads, from what I hear. I'd like to hear some feedback as well. |

I will be oredering some at the first of the year for the 1848 Magyar War if you can wait. I can tell you that the Irregular Miniatures 42mm line is first rate for toy soldiers. This is the key, they are not detailed miniatures they are true toy soldiers. They look good painted in basic colors with a high gloss shine to them. I suspect the STS line is the samse. |

Thanks for the replies. I've looked at both of your blogs (as a matter of fact, it was a link on Der Alte Fritz's blog that led me to STS). I can wait until you get your Magyar war minis. In the meantime, I'll take a look at irregular. GregS |

They look like they may be just a bit too crude otherwise I wouldn't mind doing the 1st Schlesweig-Holstein War. |

I saw the Little Britons and Shiny Toy Soldier range at Partizan this September. Brilliant – so I bought a couple of units. Really easy to paint and very easy to put together – although you might have to adjust some of the necks on the heads. The thing that sold them to me was one of thegame players saying paint with acrylics, then a coat of cheap gloss yacht varnish, and NO NEED TO SHADE!!!!! Great. And they look really great. Highly recommended Best Wishes DaveL |

I have two line units painted up, one US and one Mexican, and they were easy to put together and equally easy to paint. I plan on ordering many more as my love of toy soldiers grows. Heads and arms were easily attached with super glue gel. |
