I am putting together a kids game for the club and I would like some dice that have swords, shields, bows and fireballs for hand to hand, armour, shooting and spells respectively. I could just use 4 colours of d6 but I have some of the old battle masters dice with the sword and shield (for hits and defense) and they seemed like a great idea to me. Swords and shields like the battlemaster ones are a good start but I would like the others too. I checked Advancing Hordes and they have nothing that fits the bill except blanks. |

Closest match I can think of would be the old DragonDice game from TSR
or were they WotC by then? Most of their "troop" dice were d6's with icons for melee, ranged attack, defense, magic, and maneuver. Maybe some of them could be adapted for your game. Looks like this site has a good gallery of the various dice and the icons thereon: chuckpint.com/frame.html |

My best advice is
have them custom made by Chessex link |

The Milton Bradley game "Lionheart", has dice with an Ax symbol for melee, a bow symbol for shooting and a Panic for running away. Don't know if the game is still available, but if you check the Hasbro website, hasbro.com, you may be able to order sets of the dice. |

Someone made dice with plug-in faces about 10 years ago – there were fantasy, SF, blank and a few other packs available. |

Sounds like Dragon Dice might work. They look pretty neat, IMO. And, no, it was still TSR then. I still have some DD in their bags emblazoned with the TSR logo. I never knew there was a "dice" board. |

bsrlee is probably talking about "Dirk's Dice." Way, way, out of production, but gamestation.net has a couple of the less exciting varieties: link |
