Sorry it took so long getting this up, I had a lot of pictures I wanted to post as well but due to operator error on the camera I lost them.

The 54mm Empire of Liberty game went over pretty well. I ended up with five older players instead of the kids it was intended for but we all had fun (In spite of my playing fast and loose with the rules, as I had no opportunity to play test).

There were quite a few kids who stopped by for a 'wow, that's cool' before going on to play Battlehammer or Wartech, or whatever the kiddies are playing these days. The game itself went to a friend of mine named Sean, who teaches history, for him to use in his class so I guess it will end up in the kid's hands eventually.

As an aside, painting each army in a solid blue/red scheme worked pretty well, and had a certain visual appeal of it's own. I have yet to properly thank the guy who started all of this then abandoned the project to me, but a suitable supply of thumbscrews and sharp implements has been laid in for when the opportunity arises.

Oh, and our British readers will be pleased to know that their boys tromped all over those dastardly rebels.

Thanks for the update and review. What a bummer about the pictures.

I just checked the Recruits Gallery and I didn't see a picture of your game, sorry.

Thanks Duck Crusader for running a game and don't worry about the lack of kids, I think the adults out number the kids 4 to 1. : )

See ya in the Spring and look forward to see you run another game for us,

cheers,
Duane

Thanks a lot Lion's Den! You're a life saver! I think I will try to bring one out in the spring that I have had time to properly prepare for. Hope to see you all then.
