link The second page hotspot needs you to wiggle the mouse cursor slightly above the words. Still need to hone my Web skills and learn how to make buttons. I hope you enjoy it. Just typing up Wakefield and that should be posted this weekend. Cheers MJ |

Excellent. What miniatures are you using? Are they PP? |

The Yorkist figures are Peter Pig as are the dead and dying. I bought the Lancastrian figures on E-Bay and have not been able to ID the Manufacturer so any ideas would be good as to who might make them? I have just looked at the Essex range and I don't think they are the chaps and they certainly are not Peter Pig figures. |

Very nice report, like the mix of overhead and detailed shots. The figures look lovely. As to the link -- you can make any piece of text a link in html. As you seem to be using publisher to generate the pages, I am not certain of the precise commands needed. But generally you just type the relavent words eg Page 2 select them, and add a link to them -- it should be exactly the same way you add a link to a picture. |

The non-PP figures look rather like Minifigs to me! Most of my armies are these and they are surprisingly decent figures. The good thing with the WOR is that most ranges are compatable with each other. Graham |

On closer inspection there are a few Essex in there (mounted and a few foot officers) I think the gun might be Foundry, some of the billmen might be Feudal castings
quite a mixture which sort of supports my earlier comments. Graham |

Thanks for the feed back and the info on the figures is great. At 6ft 3" I can get overhead shots fairly easy and a chair helps as well. The overhead shots do help convey the whole action and I load them into Powerpoint for the Text and Arrows.. The other asset is the camera which is an Ixus55 which is gives good photo
I will experiment with publisher. The trouble is my time is taken on the AAR and then I just want to get it loaded on the web as quick as possible. I need to spend some hours just thinking through how to use the controls etc
Wakefield is nearly done and I hope to have decent page controls

Publisher isn't really the best choice for making webpages. Personally I prefer Dreamweaver, but it isn't straight forward to learn, and is expensive. If you have MS software you may have access to Frontpage. Another option is to use Blogging software, were the whole site is web based, including the editing, and is much more like using Word. |

Hi Fred12df. Thanks for the advice. I have heard of Dreamweavrer and know it is the package of choice and maybe in the future I will get it. I don't have Frontpage but maybe I will see if I can get hold of it. I have Publisher and for my first attempts I will continue to use it. I think it is more that I am learning how to do things and I need to spend more time learning. I wat to eventually have a UK Map with all these Battles on hotspots around the country
But first I learn to crawl before I attempt that.. Cheers MJ |
