I've finally gotten my greedy hands on Térana catalog sheets (even with the kind assistance of a French friend it wasn't easy), and am going to place an order for 20mm flats – WSS era troops and very nice by the look of the drawings. One thing though, plenty of gunners but no guns. Can anyone advise me as to a good source of 20mm artillery pieces ? Preferably metal. Obviously, I don't think I can get them as flats and anything 3D from the TYW to 7YW periods should also suffice. Steve |

Call to Arms produces a plastic 1/72 scale ECW artillery piece with a crew. Not metal though, and comes with a crew, but pretty nice piece – I have one somewhere painted up with the crew. Griefbringer |

It's surprising that the company doesn't have 'flat' cannons as part of their artillery dioramas. Ioannis recently posted pictures of his newly-painted SYW Prussian horse artillery flats that included the gun, for example. (I'm assuming you know about Ioannis's wargames.etc web site.) But to answer your query, I don't know if they're still in business, but the American "Complete Brigadier" company makes (fully round) 20mm or 1/72 or HO-scale figures and equipment. They're probably listed on TMP's Manufacturers page. |

Outland Games in the US has 18th Century 20mm artillery pieces. You could also stretch a bit and use RSM 20mm Napoleonic guns too. |

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Looks like either A Call to Arms or Outland will work. 4 guns to a box with the ACTA, one box should do it to start out. Hobby Bunker has them, maybe I'll go with the plastic. Steve |

Its kind of interesting how many flats collectors use 3-dimensional artillery pieces instead of flat artillery. I seem to recall seeing such a thing at one of the museums in Germany, although I can't recall which one. |
