I read somewhere in a wargamers mag, I don't recall which one the topic was converting a wooden boat you would buy in a seaside gift store into a gunboat. Does anyone know of a gift shop on line that would sell something like this to fit 28mm figs? I would like to try my hand at making a gunboat from one of these models. |

Also, watch hobbylobby.com for a 40% off coupon and go check their nautical row. They have a 1/25ish Dinghy that works out to less than $5 USD with the coupon and makes a great 28mm ship complete with cloth sail. |

Hi IM, I hear about a lot of folks using Megablocks pirate ships for 28mm. I have a collection of 6mm modern missile boats and I've used a variety of toys: Matchbox, Dinky, Dollar Store, etc. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. 6mm-minis.blogspot.com |
