I have added the Battle for Blore Heath and Rout of Ludford

link

link

link

I have swicthed Web hosts and still experimenting with setting things up.

If you can not see the images please let me know as some people can see them and others can not and I am trying to see if I can work out why.

So if you can let me know your IE version and PC operating system if you can't see them that would be great.

Cheers

Can see them, but can't get to page 2 of Ludford.

Nice reports, and really nice figs! I like the arrows to show the important movement.

Are teh green pipe cleaners hedges? They seem to move around an aweful lot!

Very nice AARs…

A few notes on the site (I'm on XP and Firefox 2.0.0.6):

On the main page all the text links are oddly distorted and hard if not impossible to read. The two buttons in the left margin are illegible.

The buttons for page 2 of Ludford are missing.

Photos show up just fine and the arrows and captions really make the difference.

Are these all Peter Pig figures? They look great.

Hi Thanks for the feed back.

I use Firefox and IE and I get the same distortion with FireFox. I need to invest some time changing that and soting out the problem.

The button for page 2 needs a bit of mouse movement in the area as I have not made the hotspot big enough, again I need to perfect that. It is there just wiggle the mouse around the area a bit until you get the cursor change.

I also have missed the title of the page for Ludford.

Need to spend some time at the weekend tweaking it.

Glad you liked the photo's.

The pipe cleaner is hedges and as Bloody Baron and was there for effect and also to represent the fortification as we forgot to bring the real ones.

Often when playing on a board which has no hedges of note we include them to just make the appearance look better and then move them out of the way when units need the space.

One force is Peter Pig (Yorkist) my force (Lancastrian) is not and I am not sure of the manufacturer. Twas an E-Bay purchase before so I could play quickly.

Just painting up some PP Rebs and Union forces to start playing Civil War Battles which is a cracking set of rules. (IMO)

Anyway I hope to make the changes noted above at the weekend.

Many thanks for the feedback and I now need to sort out Northampton's AAR as I have the photo's and need to find time to put the AAR together.

Cheers

Just checked the Button for Ludford, move your mouse towards bottom of page just under text and the finger will appear…

Need to make it a button or a bigger area. Again more things to learn…

Cheers

The images are not there for me. The image box is there, but it is empty, with the 'X' in the top corner (to signify no image) I can see the text. I am using Home XP with IE at 1280 by 800 pixels.

normsmith21 Aug 2007 1:59 p.m. PST

sorry, version 7

holien21 Aug 2007 2:27 p.m. PST

Hmmm I use Pro XP and Version 7 of IE (I also use Firefox)

I wonder if it is an update within IE?

I am Service Pack 2 of XP…

And 7.0.5730.11 of IE.

I shall have to see if my Google Fu can find the answer…

Thanks for the Feedback NormSmith…

Well spotted.
