As with all of my experiences thus far, gathering people together to play Napoleonic Quick March for the first time is always fun adventure. Everyone picks up the rules by turn three, and in this case especially some high level tactical manuevers were evident.

As I understand it, this game is played on some kind of gridded board. However, in the pictures accompanying this report I can see no evidence of any kind of grid. Anybody care to shed any light?

Well Mike, as you've been told twice now, the game is played with or without the grid. For big conventions I use the large game map you see without grids. Can't make the light much brighter than saying this same thing three times now. Ta!

Ah OK, thanks. Missed the bit about playing without a grid.

Depends Mike, where are you? The host hotel, Holiday Inn International Drive is also the destination for Virgin Atlantic's package deal out of the UK and we have more than a few gamers coming out from there! You might just be suprised!
