I am painting 1/1200 ships. I have some Dutch, Swedish Spanish, Argentina and Norwegian ships. Could anyone help me with what color their decks would be. I figure they are some shade of light grey overall.

Prior to WW II they would probably be wood in cruisers and above. DDs and down would be grey or a brown composite material known by different names in different fleets. During WW II most were stained or painted grey usually the hull colour or a shade darker.
