Hi: does anyone know of a site thah might indicate the product list and worth of the old 1930s Tremo range of lead-cast ship models. I have a collection of these from my dad and know that they have collector's worth, but would like to get more details. Cheers |

I have a collection of TREMO ships given to me and my brother by a colleague of my father's in the 1970's to which I have been adding over time. I do not believe that there is a website which gives a list of ships that they produced but I have attempted to compile a list from a number of sources (see below). (If you know of any others please let me know). Cheers Tremo (Treforest Mouldings) Cast waterline ships 1:1200 Royal & Commonwealth Navies Aircraft Carriers HMS Hermes HMS Eagle HMS Furious HMS Courageous HMS Glorious HMS Ark Royal Seaplane Carrier HMS Albatross Battleships HMS Nelson HMS Rodney HMS Royal Sovereign HMS Royal Oak HMS Resolution HMS Ramillies HMS Revenge HMS Queen Elizabeth HMS Warspite HMS Valiant HMS Barham HMS Malaya Battle Cruisers HMS Repulse HMS Hood Heavy Cruisers HMS Exeter HMS York HMS Devonshire HMS Norfolk HMS Dorsetshire HMS London HMS Shropshire HMS Sussex HMS Berwick HMS Birmingham HMS Cornwall HMS Kent HMS Suffolk HMS Cumberland HMAS Australia HMAS Canberra Cruisers HMS Southampton HMS Belfast HMS Edinburgh HMS Newcastle HMS Birmingham HMS Gloucester HMS Glasgow HMS Liverpool HMS Manchester HMS Bonaventure HMS Sheffield HMS Dunedin HMS Durban HMS Danae HMS Dauntless HMS Dragon HMS Cairo HMS Calcutta HMS Carlisle HMS Capetown HMS Hermione HMS Apollo HMS Sydney HMS Arethusa HMS Galatea HMS Penelope HMS Aurora HMS Leander HMS Neptune HMS Orion HMS Achilles HMS Ajax HMS Emerald HMS Enterprise HMS Dispatch HMS Diomede HMS Delhi HMS Columbo HMS Cardiff HMS Caracoa HMS Ceres HMS Coventry HMS Curlew HMS Caledon HMS Calypso HMS Caradoc HMS Effingham Minelayer Cruiser HMS Adventure Monitor HMS Terror Destroyers Tribal Class HMS Afridi HMS Cossack HMS Eskimo HMS Mashona HMS Gurkha HMS Maori HMS Mohawk HMS Nubian HMS Sikh HMS Zulu HMS Matabele HMS Punjabi HMS Ashanti HMS Bedouin HMS Somali HMS Tartar 'H' Class HMS Havock HMS Hardy HMS Hero HMS Hotspur 'I' Class HMS Inglefield 'J' Class HMS Javelin 'K' Class HMS Kelvin Admiralty 'R' Class HMS Skate 'V' Class HMS Vanity HMS Vesper 'W' Class HMS Watchman Sloop HMS Bittern Minesweeping Sloops HMS Halcyon Minesweepers HMS Aberdare Submarines Porpoise Class Thames Class R Class Other Vessels Fleet Oiler Hospital Ship Troop Ship Cargo Ship Other navies: German Ships Pocket Battleship Deutschland French Ships Aircraft Carrier Bearn Heavy Cruiser Algérie Japanese Ships Battleship Fuso Aircraft Carrier Kaga US Ships Heavy Cruisers USS Pensacola USS Salt Lake City Light Cruisers USS Omaha |

Sorry – I forgot to add a comment regarding the value of the ships. These are highly variable depending on the condition and whether or not the original box is present. It is worth looking at the Vectis Auctions website at: vectis.co.uk/auclist.php (Enter "Treforest Mouldings", "Tremo" or "TM" in the search box) It is also worth looking at the waterline ships website at: link Regards |

For prices of Tremo models I would suggest checking ebay uk, typing in tremo in the search then clicking to see completed listings. That will give you some idea what the ships are selling at, and what prices are being rejected by buyers. Good luck |
