Hi:

does anyone know of a site thah might indicate the product list and worth of the old 1930s Tremo range of lead-cast ship models. I have a collection of these from my dad and know that they have collector's worth, but would like to get more details.

Cheers

I have a collection of TREMO ships given to me and my brother by a colleague of my father's in the 1970's to which I have been adding over time. I do not believe that there is a website which gives a list of ships that they produced but I have attempted to compile a list from a number of sources (see below). (If you know of any others please let me know).

Cheers

Sorry – I forgot to add a comment regarding the value of the ships. These are highly variable depending on the condition and whether or not the original box is present.

It is worth looking at the Vectis Auctions website at:

vectis.co.uk/auclist.php

(Enter "Treforest Mouldings", "Tremo" or "TM" in the search box)

It is also worth looking at the waterline ships website at:

Please add to the list:

Does anyone have a resource for buying 1:1200 or 1:1250 scale ship parts? I am looking for turrets, cranes, lifeboats etc…. Thanks for your help

For prices of Tremo models I would suggest checking ebay uk, typing in tremo in the search then clicking to see completed listings. That will give you some idea what the ships are selling at, and what prices are being rejected by buyers. Good luck

For spare parts suggest you look at waterline-ships.co.uk
