Where can one purchase D6 dice that are squared at the corners, rather than bevelled. As I understand it, the odds of rolling a 1 are a little bit higher on dice with rounde corners due to more paint on the six face of the die. Or something like that. At any rate, I want square dice since 1s are death in our rules and 6s rule the world. |

Any game store that orders from Chessex or Koplow should be able to get you 'decommissioned' casino dice. They're quite sharp. |

I thought the chances of rolling a six were higher because the greater number of holes make that side lighter. |

Depends on the style of dice; painted spots are more likely to produce ones, while indented holes are more likely to produce sixes. That said, it *really* isn't statistically significant; maybe one or two times per thousand. If you really are bothered about it, though, the recommendations for casino dice are spot on; they're as "true" a set of dice as you'll find. Dom. |

Alte Fritz, I remember you posting something about being in/around Chicago, anyway, the following is based off of that: I think Games Plus sells casino style dice. At the front counter with the other dice. Also I would be surprised if Gamer's Paradice does not have some in with either their Dice or Casino night stuff. |
