This game was developed by the Pueblo Native Americans, and has been especially produced for Cosmic Fire Foundation: cosmicfirefoundation.nl .

Pa-tol is closely related to Pachisi or Ludo, and symbolizes a fight between horsemen. Originally, it was not a board game, but it was changed into one without any actual changes to the game. At the end of the rules, you will find an explanation on how to play the game in its original version outdoors. The purpose of the game is to be the first to complete the full course with your horse.

The game consists out of a simple paper version of the board, ready to be used, but also as an inspiration for designing your own board for this game, three unique hand crafted two sided wooden dice, six ringed sticks which serve as pawns, and clear instructions.

The instructions also give clear suggestions on how to play the game outdoors.

The game costs €3,90

P&P Netherlands: €1,60
Europe: €2,75
World: €3,60

For the collectors of dice we also offer the unique Pa-tol dice separately, together with a table to determine the scores.

Done, thanks for the tip.

Odd that the Pueblos would have a game based on horsemanship
considering that historicly thay weren't horsemen.

jdginaz, it's true that the Pueblos never quit farming and abandoned their villages to become horse nomads, as some tribes did. But the Pueblos got horses from the Spanish before the Plains tribes did. In fact, the Pueblos played a key role in passing knowledge of horses and horsemanship to the Plains peoples.
