As requested
May I suggest the creation of a new category in the Forums, specifically for 30mm Flat figures? It could be under the General category, as it would normally attract painters/collectors/gamers from many eras. As the flats require a different approach in both painting and gaming than 3D figures, I believe it is a good idea to have a dedicated area for their discussions. Lately, there have been several threads on this topic, and a dedicated forum might increase interest and traffic! Voila! The Flats board

This is a new board that actually makes sense! |

Another board to uncheck. Not because the subject is not of interest--I collect flats--but in general disapproval of the continued proliferation of threads. If there has been a sudden burst of flat-related threads recently, I certainly missed them, so I don't suppose I will miss anything in the future very much. Allen |

Did you mean to say proliferation of boards? |

Hurray I'm going to start a thread a day! Sorry Allen it had to be said. Of course it may or maynot be on the flats bd--erhmmm! |

Oh, I suppose John is correct in his assessment. It is a subject deserving of a separate board on The *Miniatures* Page. There really is not much crossover with other "collector" miniatures genres. So when does TMP get a "G.I. Joe" board? Or a Hummel board? Allen |

How about a collectable mini board and a prepainted figure board? More boards the better!!

Thanks, Editor ! Allen, most all of the flats threads had been posted in the relative obscurity of the 18th Century forum. ;-) |

A board on flats? I'd much rather have a board for 44DDs! Okay, I'm sorry. I've been drinking tonight

So that explains why I have so many flats threads on my front page on TMP all of a sudden. It sounds like a good idea. A lot of figure painters could stand to learn a thing or two about painting techniques from flats painters. |

I thought Americans called them "apartments." |

We do
I was trying to figure out why we now have a board for housing I just spent the last three days hanging drywall at my mother-in-laws house. I was hoping to talk about it in there.
Hmmm, do we have a home improvement board? Time to start wading thru the board jungle. Doctor Livingston I presume |

Not another one. 'Wargaming' and 'Other Stuff', it is all we need. |

I agree with several boards, but.. Is there anyone wargaming with flats?. |
Dropzonetoe | 13 Jul 2007 6:46 a.m. PST |
Martin, I was joking BTW. Got so many boards I don't even know what we have anymore. |

Hmmm, do we have a home improvement board? Time to start wading thru the board jungle. Funny you should ask TMP link
Can we have a bloody 'Index' board to index the boards that already exist? Because it's all becoming a little unwieldy
