Nice little haunt (pardon the pun) picture Although they reckon it will go for about $135 USD million so I can either buy that or a two bedroom flat in London

Unfortunately, we do not accept bids for 135 million pounds of lead, sculpted or not. |

Gee, I did not know there were any Hapsburgs left |
John the OFM | 03 Jul 2007 7:01 a.m. PST |
I read somewhere that the legitimate heir to the Hapsburg crown is a usd car dealer in Vienna. "Hi, Biff Hapsburg. I see you have quite a family there. Can I interest you in a mini-van?" Sure, they may have dropped the "von", but who knows what they are really up to? |
| Father Georgi | 03 Jul 2007 7:57 a.m. PST |
Not sure about that John the OFM. The "heir" to the Hapsburg crown is Otto Von Hapsburg link |

It's Habsburg not Hapsburg. :-) I always wanted to live in a castle. It is one of my childhood dreams. With prices like this I think I can give up hope. Well at least there is sort of a moat next to my appartment building. |

Given that one of their main areas of skill in being a dynasty was their ability to reproduce themselves like crazy I would be surprised if there weren't any left. |

Wow, when I win the lottery – the big one – perhaps I'll make a bid. Now only if I could get some fancy title to go with it! Can you imagine if all of the TMPer's put together a bid – we could make it into The Miniatures Pages Convention Center & Castle. Just think of all of the fun conventions you could host there! Pulp games, historical games, complete with a historical setting! Now wouldn't that be the thing! |
Pictors Studio | 03 Jul 2007 2:27 p.m. PST |
I don't think that I could host many games there. The airfare would kill me. |

Perhaps the article I read meant he had invested in auto delerships. You have to make ends meet when you can no longer tax salt and hearths. |

The Habsburgs breed like rabbits, don't worry about them. They make their money with evading taxes by smuggling their art treasures from one country to another, and there selling them off for usually at least thrice overpriced. Otto is really old now, he only talks about God and "restitution", his son Karl is the greatest idiot the main lines of the family have had in quite a while. He was so stupid even Austria's republicans didn't want him to run for them anymore (and they usually take any candidates). |

Buy it and turn it into a steak restaurant (with great garlic bread). |
Der Alte Fritz | 05 Jul 2007 9:31 a.m. PST |
They will only sell it to "a buyer who will treat the property and its history with the appropriate respect." I guess that eliminates Disney or Six Flags Over Transylvania. |

"Do they ship overseas?" The Castle or the Habsburgs? |
